Im having a reallllll hard time trying to defeat the kingslayer in chapter 1, i cant even get it health to 75% without dieing,

Ive tried alot of things but nothing is really working, i might be realy screwed here

This one took a lot of tries for me too. I finally managed to beat him on normal difficulty level by using the knockback sign and doing heavy attacks with steel sword while he was stunned. You can usually put through 2-3 attacks before he starts blocking. If he uses the shield just dodge around him until it wears off.
