welcome to PC.
Give out all your PC details like CPU/RAM/Video card and OS version.
I reccomend you run dxdiag and export the details to a text file. then upload it.
Hallo, here is the dxdiag-file!
I hope there's any solution... Thanks.

The forum doesn't accept the format of my file, so i paste it here:

Hey can you check the Witcher site for Witcher support and mail the info to them, they are really helpful.

The machine sports almost the minimum requirements to play the game. It might be crashing because it's running out of memory. I suggest to follow up with CPDR as Anarki_Hunter suggested. On the meantime try lowering the settings to lower and most importanly just for testing set the resolution to 800x600. The sad reality is that you don't have a system designed for gaming. If you really want to game on your PC you have to build your own system. That also lowers the costs of price per performance significantly(DELL prices are ridiculous when compared to DIY prices) and assembling your own PC is as easy as Lego nowadays. The good news is that you can do so with your own PC. Try getting more RAM and a new CPU.

My main suggestion is never expect to get a system like that and get gaming out of it unless games are at least 3 years old. The Witcher 1 will run ok on that system.

Here are the game minimum sys req's:

I'm amazed you actually got the game running on that horrid excuse for a PC. It's full of aged low-budget parts.

The game should be playable on that setup, but probably low settings and reduced resolution. The CPU and GPU are sub-minimum, but not by so large a margin as to make the game entirely unplayable, and the memory is the bare minimum.

Sometimes windowed mode seems to work better than full screen with low-end setups. Try going into the Options on the Launcher and setting Fullscreen to Disabled, Screen Resolution to, say, 1280x800, and the general settings to Low.

If that makes the game playable, you can work upward from there, by increasing settings to Medium or increasing the screen resolution, until you have the best appearance you can get without making the game unstable.

Since that is an old computer, it might be dusty to the point of having heat problems. Give it a good cleaning.
According to your DX Diag, your video card driver is a year old, and your sound driver is 5 years old!

Don't get drivers for these from Dell, download them from the manufacturer.
