Can you take screen shots in Witcher 2? There is an easter egg I found that is hilarious and I just need a picture of it! Sure I could do a print screen and then get it through paint but that's a few extra steps.
Just use Afterburner so you can also track you fps and OC your videocard. Plus, you can set the picture quality and format.

Is there no other way?

Well, you can add W2 to your Steam, run it by clicking it in the Steam list of games, and you get the UI overlay. Now you take screenshots by presing F12, and after you exit the game it gives you some options to manage those screenshots.

If you are using the Steam version you can hit F12 to take screenshots. I don't think there is any way to do it through the game itself. I've been using FRAPS to take some shots but they don't do the game justice. It looks so much better in-game than in a screenshot.
Use FRAPS. If you're obsessed with quality, use the bmp format.
FRAPS is the answer.

I think you meant PNG? They're smaller and lossless too.

Forgot about PNG. Both are good but yes PNG is even better.
Isnt there any way to take screenshots on the gog version apart from FRAPS (which probably isnt free).

There is a free version of fraps but I believe it limits you to bmp screenshots. I think you can add TW2 to steam as a non-steam game and still use that screenshot feature if you prefer.

the free version of FRAPS can take screenshots, but only in BMP, which you can convert easily in photoshop or whatever you use.
