Today, I bought the retail copy of the Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition for the PC. I remembered that GOG would supply a backup copy if you entered the product key, so that's what I sought out to do. I have searched high and low across all my boxes and manuals and discs, and have been unable to find this product key. Where is it?

I've read in another forum that the newer retail copies do not have a cd key. If yours is this case, you might want to come here, hope it helps.

Well, that's a pain in the butt. But thanks.
Can confirm that the physical "new and improved 2.0" version does NOT come with a product key. Bought one today, with bad luck I might not be playing it until friday night.....

Why all this hassle when the game itself is DRM free?
