Simply put, I'm stumped. I've tried the force shield and thought I had solved my problem as we got down to almost where the wraths try to destroy the dome. But then my health bar which was slowly slipping was spent and I died. Just curious as to WHAT I may be doing wrong.

Thanks for any help.

P.s. I did search the forums, twice, to see if this has been addressed before, but found nothing helpful.

Did you leave the forcefield which is created by the owl? You have to stay inside of that.
And there is another explenation... are you playing on Dark Mode?

Then it should be the case of getting out of it. It hurts and kill you pretty quickly, so better pay attention to stay in the dome.
Also - I asked about Dark Mode bacuse the 'unique' sets, if not complited, will drain health if you use one of the coresponding sets swords.

I believe I found my problem though I do not understand it. When you mentioned weapons I went in to see what I was carrying and found that I had a pick ax in place of my steel sword which I had not placed there (intentionally). I switched back to my steel sword and stayed in the circle and had no problems getting across the field.

Thanks to you all for taking the time to help.
