Re-started me game because after patch 1.1 everything runs so much smoother. However, it seems after that patch cutscenes interfere w/ picking up loot. I opted to take on Aryan La Vallette and his group. Right after defeating them, the game immediately went to the cutscene and I had no opportunity to get anything.

This happening to anyone else? Is there a fix or work around?

No.

That said, let's put this in perspective.

Maybe 5 orens in total from just looting coins (typically it was 1-2 orens if a corpse even dropped any in the prologue).

Say two of them dropped swords. Those would have sold for maybe 4-5 orens each.

Some random trade good materials, so let's say 1 cloth, 2 leather, 1 oil.

I think you'll be ok missing out on that potential loot. :p
I heard two of them had Greater Mutagens.....
Not tested this idea but might be worth a try as loony as it sounds, put away your sword and run away, then run back and click for the goodies before they attack again ?.

please reply if it works,i`ll use it myself if so. ;)

Mmm, I read somewhere there was a bit more than that. More importantly, however, is if this keeps happening. It's a bug, and I wanted to know if anyone else experienced it. Sooner or later, there will be important items on which I'll be missing out. :P

Didn't have a chance to move or put away my sword. Cutscene happened immediately.

The times where you'd miss an important item, the game gives you an option to stay and loot after the cutscene plays.

Being a software engineer, I highly doubt that is the case. It would involve unnecessary processes of creating an array of the enemies slain, then another array of what those enemies were carrying, then a check before calling the cutscene. Unnecessary processes are exactly what programmers try and avoid.

You can doubt all you want. What happens is, after the cutscene, an NPC asks you if you want to follow on with the story, or if you want to stay. If you choose to stay, you'll have to reach the next plot point yourself, but you're free to loot any important items you missed because of the cutscene.
