My witcher 2 install disc has been damaged unfortunately by one of my kids, if I have the registration code, is there any way to download the install from this site so that i can complete the installation?

Unfortunately, no. GOG does not provide replacements for damages retail media.

If the retailer gives you no satisfaction, try http://www.thewitcher.com/support
I am not actually asking for a replacement, I am looking for a legal way to download the client with my product registration key, similar to steam.

I realize that, and apologies if my wording seemed to indicate differently. But no, GOG does not provide a DL option to people that bought and are having issues with physical copies.
well, that sucks
I think gog doesn't sell any kind of phisical or retail copies.

Why should GOG provide replacements for something that it isn't selling ?
Have you tried registering the key with steam? I've registered games that I didn't purchase through steam and it worked, though it doesn't work all of the time.

Not for this game, unfortunately.

If the OP is still around, or if anyone else is reading this and thinking that it's strange that GoG wouldn't deal with it, the answer was given on an earlier post in the thread. Anyone with a problem with the retail disks needs to contact support at the main Witcher site - http://en.thewitcher.com/support/.

GoG may be a sister-company to the developer, but they're not the developer, and they're not involved in the retail distribution. Only the original vendor or the developer can handle problems with the retail disk media..
