Hello

Is there an official reason as to why dice is played on an angle?

Even at 1920 x 1080, I cannot always properly see what dice I roll, and at other times the lower area of the board completely blocks the view of dice altogether.

Not only that, but it seems when you roll them, sometimes they don't finish rolling yet the game stops them and places them on the board. Erm... if it's physics based, why doesn't the game always let them finish bouncing about?

Small complaint, but it really seems as if playing dice has gone backwards.

Thanks

I think there's the illusion that the dice throwing is physics based, but something tells me the *physics* only determine if the dice fly off the board or not, otherwise they'll still roll whatever they're supposed to.

You might find this http://witchernexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7 useful as far as visibility goes.

Overall, I have to agree that playing dice has gone backwards.

Thanks. It's not the roman numerals, it's the angle they land on, on the board. Sometimes they're so pixelated that you have to wait for them to appear on the 5 spots for them to be readable.

The entire thing played from above would work better visually, and the controls would be much better.

I mean, moving the dice over an angle? Madness I tell you.
I kinda had the same problem so instead i ignored the numbers and only looked at the marks on the dices instead of the Roman letters :P
I did the same too at first, but changing back to the old textures really improved the whole thing for me :P
And we can't milk some sucker dry like we could in TW1. Loved when Thaler had no more money to bet. Now, when we rematch some opponents, despite the purse on the table all we get is 5 orens! =/
