I'm using Windows 7 with UAC turned on and my regular user account doesn't have admin rights as is being recommended by Microsoft since the old Windows XP days. I have another dedicated admin account setup I use through UAC to install software and do other admin-stuff.
Witcher 2 doesn't seem to like that recommended user account setup, as I can't activate the DLC for my regular user account in any imaginable way. When trying to install the DLC, it actually tells me I need admin rights for that operation - but when I run the launcher as admin, the DLC only gets installed for the admin user account, not for my regular user.
Any easy solution for this?
I mean, come on ... it's 2011 now ... the whole user account issue isn't actually new, so why the heck doesn't Witcher 2 support this right out of the box?
