I installed the 1.1 patch successfully and I downloaded the dlcs off gog. I tried installing them and thought it worked. I check the downloads section in the launcher and the dlcs didn't update. I click one of them and it's stuck on a constant 'retrying to install' loop. I'm not exactly sure whether I installed them or not. I know that they're suppose to be under 'CookedPC' but what are they named as?
And how do I cancel the 'download.'

I haven't been able to download the Troll Trouble DLC.

I have the same error now. Before the patch, it kept cycling and trying to connect to the server, and failing.

Now it connects, but I get that "error writing file". Tried making sure the game/launcher is running with admin permission, but still the same error.

.exe installed DLC are not manageable by the launcher. Don't use it.

So basically the launcher is moot now? Except for options and launching the game?

Troll dlc is now part of patch.

Other DLC will install via CDP provided .exes, but will not show up as being installed in Launcher. Disregard the launcher.

Thanks. Well that sucks. I was expecting the dlcs to be a little more organized. Is there a way to uninstall them?

Delete the .dlc file for it under the CookedPC directory.

You could try going to your "Cooked PC" folder in the GOG/TW2 directory, and deleting the .dlc files associated with each one. They should be pretty clearly labeled, like "merchant", swrodsman, roche, etc.

Thanks again. I checked and they were there. I thought the dlcs would actually modify core game files.

I have a similar problem. Ive patched the game but the troll quest still tells me to download the content - do i need to reinstall anyhting or what.

hrrr...I've done the same thing, installed the merchant DLC via exe and then (thinking it just unlocks it) started the download in the launcher...now the launcher would not stop trying.

Is there any way to stop this maddness? It's repeatedly trying, and not just every 10 seconds...
