I'm considering buying TW1 and TW2 for my boyfriend and I to play simultaneously. I have two questions before I purchase the PC versions for the 2 PC's in my home.

1. Can I buy one copy of TW1 and one copy of TW2 and install it to both systems, or will I have to purchase two copies of each?

2. Do both PC games support Xbox 360 gamepads?

Only Witcher 2 supports the game pad.
You can have two installations and the software will not stop you, You are on the honor system. Do what you feel is correct.
1. You can purchase just one copy of each game, though sharing is frowned upon.

2. Both games support 360 gamepads (if you use something like XPadder), though it's probably not recommended to play with them.

I believe that The WItcher 2 supports an Xbox 360 controller natively, but I'm not sure.

The Witcher 1 does NOT support a controller and it was clearly designed to be played with mouse and keyboard. However, you can actually get it working with a 360 pad, if you are willing to put in a bit of effort. Check out this thread for details:

Thank you so much for the information!

I'm gonna buy TW1 and TW2 later tonight.
