I'm thinking of modding Witcher 2 I figured out how to unpack the base scripts.dzip file

My question is do I have to re pack it back into a dzip or can I leave it unpacked and accessible
Will the game still run or does it need it packed into a dzip to run?

You do not have to repack it. Place your modified file in folder "CookedPC".
Files in "CookedPC" override the original files in ???.dzip.

Sp if i'm understanding correctly you't even have to unpack base scripts.dzip
just figure out which files change what i'm trying to alter in my case poker and arm wrestling

and put those in cooked PC

Do i put the folder that contains those files or just the files them self?

Nexus has mods for poker and arm wrestling. If you look at those mods you will see examples of how do to it.
