Hi there folks..
Sorry to trouble you with same old,same old but...having replayed withcer 1..so I could import into Witcher 2..I now find myself at an impasse.
Yes..I have a low end machine and graphics but..game was playing fine until this encounter..i.e The Kyran.
Have tried the many suggested fixes for the mouse lag issues etc. lowering res..windows mode and the like but..no matter what I try..even when I fill up the bar when riding the tentacle..I always end up on the ground and the scene never takes me to the next stage..i.e the fallen bridge.

Have uploaded latest autosave in the hope that someone could be kind enough to end much frustration with this and allow me to move on with the game.

Files are save at start of Kyran cutscene and the related image file..
