Hi Guys,

i hope you can help me with this problem, i did not find a similiar problem around the forums.

My game runs perfektly fine but now i'm at the point where i have to manouver through the battlefield with the owl's assistance, and after i step into the end zone with the blue mist, the loading screen appears but the snake loading symbol simply freezes after some seconds and i have to shut down the game via the task manager. The same problem appeared when i tryed to do the Elf's bark assault quest before, but there i could counter it with the option to do the assault the way the elf wanted. I alreasy reinstalled and updated to 2.1, the problem appeared on the clean unpatched installation aswell as now.

My gaming equip is:

AMD X6 3200mhz
16gb 1333mhz Corsair RAM
Geforce GTX 260 Zotac AMP²

Hope anyone knows a solution, i really want to go on in the story.

Probably stating the obvious but make sure you have the latest Nvidia drivers installed. Also shut down any unnecessary background programs you may have running.

There is a lot going on graphically in that area so you might want to try temporarily turning down the graphics settings to low just until you bypass that area. I seem to remember the game freezing up or crashing on me once or twice during that transition.

Your system should be able to handle this game well so I suspect some other problem (such as drivers or background programs interfering). If all else fails you might want to try some general system maintenance (i.e., defrag your harddrive, registry cleanup, malware scans, etc.)

Best thx to all who read it, i found the solution. You have to turn down the graphic details to minimum and then it overcomes the loading hanger. Big thx for the help everyone.
