muun: Am I missing something here? There is no direction indicator on the main game screen. If I want to know my direction, I have to open the map screen and see where Geralt's arrow is pointing (and hope that his arrow is visible at all). C'mon guys, forgetting to indicate direction on the mini-map is like forgetting your pants. Shouldn't happen, and is quite embarrassing when it does.
Also, note that there are a few quests where the objective won't have arrows on mini-map. (i.e., quests where you have to locate and destroy nests of nekkers, endrega, and harpies). However, you can get clues to their general location by reading books on the monsters / talking to NPCs. This can be frustrating, but it adds a bit of realism, because obviously the only way for Geralt to know where the nests are is to go out and find them....
