I mean has it gotten some stuff that Witcher 1 had and not so much a console port for controls and well all the dumbed down stuff you get with a kids console port game.

Well like a inventory that worked at least as good as Whitcher 1, the combat moves you can do like in Witcher 1. Has it been improved to be worthy to be called Witcher 2 yet? Or did I waste my money on some damn stupid console port. I pre-ordered it like a fool because I trusted the company but got screwed. If I had known they was making a Console port I wouldn't have pre-ordered it.

Not really sure what you're after?

It's not a console port, it plays fine with a keyboard.

The panels aren't as good as what they could be, but they're even worse with a controller.

The combat is sometimes unresponsive, but that's a bug and it does it with a controller as well.

Well I updated it to 1.35 the innovatory seems to be fixed I like it better then TW1, but after that it is still a console game it is a console port and those of you that can't tell it are not use to real PC games. I mean the hand fighting with the WASD keys, the up/down clicks and where they place them are all console like.

This game was Console made then released pc first to make sure it wasn't called a console port but it is. I think the Console was about finished then they ported it to PC and released a PC version first. Then did a few minor finishing touch's to the console and released it not long after.

Gfx are very good, Story is as good as usual

Game play sucks compared to TW1 because of the stupid consolish UI. I really dis like it so much I consider it a waste of my money to have bought it. CDP sold PC gamers out so they could make TW2 a console game IMO.

TW1 is 100% better in game play then TW2...

Another thing they don't allow reviews anymore on TW2 they allowed it for those that rated it on seeing Tress naked and gave it 5* for that alone. I give it 1* for it's UI alone it stinks. Know what is really weird you can still write reviews on TW1.

cjrgreen I wasn't putting anyone down just stating facts if you feel offended I feel sorry for you, as you wear your feelings on your shirtsleeves.

If you plan to say you are stating the facts have your facts correctly checked first.
The very sentence and observation as well as the definition of the word "fact" implies something factual, that is the truth.

You are NOT stating the facts, you are making assumptions and accusations, you are entitled to make them (apparently there is that thing called freedom of speech where you come from and it entitles you to be offensive whenever you feel like it)...

I happen to think UI could use improvements, but I do not put the whole product down because I disagree with a part of it, nor am I turning my rants into some "factual" nonsense.

And yes, your assumptions are offensive, I certainly took it that way as a veteran of video games (I have been playing them for 28+ years) and I happen to agree with CJRGreen in relation to his last comment.

It is a Fact it is a Console port if you say it isn't then I disagree with you because your blind to that FACT... I know what they did it isn't that hard to figure it out. TW2 could have been good with a PC UI not a Console port over. the UI sucks in every way for a PC. I got sick of trying to play it with mouse and keyboard was about to uninstall and my son puts a game pad on it and wow he just goes to town with it. So it was a port over from Console to PC.

I will stick to the Real Witcher which was the first one. The one made for PC's not dumb down for kids and instant gratification junkies.

It stil has a bad alchemy screen, bad character/knowledge screen and the inventory could be better but other than those the UI is fine.

Made for future console release in mind? Yes, but thats business. It still works well on PC.

Combat is still unresponsive, actions like throwing a bomb are still slow so mobs are on you by the time its thrown, and gamepad use could be a whole lot better too.

Its still a good PC game, but could be better.

And you sound like an idiot with your ranting, free speach is great.....unless its insane ranting. You never says whats so bad about the UI.

How naive, that their own country men (as yourself) misinterpret the ideals of American Revolution and then related it to something as absurd as to justify trolling.

It isn't a console port.

It was designed to be played with a controller in mind, the developers have stated that.

But that doesn't make it a console port.

And how could it have been ported when there is only 1 version of the game, the PC version?
