I didn't preorder the game but from my understanding everyone that registers their game gets this DLC.

I registered the game and started the launcher and went to the DLC section. I don't see Troll Trouble listed.

What am I missing?
Can someone help me out with an answer? I have already registered my copy of the game. It mentions in-game that you need to enter your Game Key at the forum site but I don't see how that's possible.

I can't even register my dlc oh well.

But the troll dlc, you'll find a noticeboard in foltast (first trading post in the game, chapter 1), there's mention of "troll dlc" which should trigger your quest if you have the dlc.
You register through the launcher... if you did that and Troll Trouble does not appear on the DLC I don't know what to tell you. Do the language packs appear?
Make sure you don't finish the dice poker quest before you start this one though... as you miss out on a option to win a prize from finishing the quest.

The language packs appear for me but I did not pre-order the game therefore I shoudn't have access to them, correct?

However, there is nowhere in the Launcher's DLC section that shows the Troll stuff even though I did register.

This is ridiculus.
Very strange indeed. The first thing I did after installing the game was to register it, then went to the DLC section, where there was the Troll Trouble DLC. I have had no problem selecting it, downloading it and installing it.
I am having the exact same trouble atm. I registered but it does not show up in the DLC section to download it.
I just found if i closed the launcher and re opened it, the troll trouble shows up in the list.

Im having the exact issue. Not showing in my list at all but i also have all language packs.

been waiting for it since release day, almost ready to leave that area of the game so I may never get it I guess.

Even if it was in your list you can't download it or install it .. as that is a major problem at this time and hopefully will be addressed by the patch coming out this week.....

There's another way to get this dlc up and running, it doesn't use the game launcher. It's what I ended up doing after many failed attempts to install the DLC the proper way.

First you need to visit this link and download the .rar file.
http://www.mediafire.com/?3v941nnn9b18nsx

Once it's downloaded, extract it somewhere. Open the folder up and inside you will see the troll.dzip file. Copy and paste that file into your C:/program files/The Witcher 2/CookedPC folder. If all went well you should now be able to pick up the quest off the notice board in Flotsam.

That's just great. The server is down ( They told me that in an email this morning ), so can't get the DLC download and I have finished the Dice Poker thing.
I can confirm it works. Thanks a ton man, The other stuff that comes with the file is nice to ;).
Coastie do what i just did from Aramyn89's post. It takes like 5 minutes.
