Peetz: well i just did it.....but its not appearing on the load games....



That's right - in your \savegames directory. Don't forget to unzip it first - there will be the .save file and a .bmp file in the zip.

Peetz: If you are having trouble seeing the save files, please ensure first that the 2 files were copied into your MyDocuments\Witcher2\savegames directory. Understand that the savegames will automatically generate their own number, so if you have played more since you sent your pre-Kayran save here, the savegame numbering may be off. You may have to look down the list for the proper save save - it may not be listed at the top.

If you are still having trouble, copy ALL of your saves somewhere else temporarily, leaving just the 2 files I upped in the savegame directory.

Peetz: 1. The files are:
ManualSave_0044.sav 1302KB
ManualSave_0044_640x360.bmp 901KB

Please check that the files you got are the same names and sizes - and that you placed them in your Witcher2\gamesaves directory.

2. If you are not using the latest EE version of the game, then update the game to the EE version and install the 3.2 patch.

3. If you are still having difficulty, post back.

Peetz: How can you update your game you ask?

Well, depending on where you bought it - retail, GOG, Steam, etc - they will update a bit differently. I'm sure you can read the stickied posts on this forum to see how, or visit the main Witcher site to find out how. And yes, the update files are quite large - almost as big as the original game.
