Does anyone else have this problem? My game was working fine yesterday, but today the Launcher just won't pop up. I've tried rebooting, still doesn't work. I can play the game from the witcher2.exe in /bin, but it's at a low resolution with lower settings. Anyone know a solution?

I'm having this problem, too. Launcher not launching. Going into the directories and finding/running the game's actual executable works, but not the launcher.

I've found a way to fix it. Go to your directory with the gog installer and run the install again to the same path as before. It'll repair the installation; you'll have to reapply graphics settings though.

There is another problem that causes the launcher to fail to start the game and then return back to the launcher. If you have a faulty serial device (Or one that is not connected), it can cause it to fail. If you are running Windows 7, Try to disable your com port, reboot and then try to launch. You can also try to uninstall the device that is either failing or not present. I didn't see this solution posted anywhere on the web, but it has worked in come cases.

The launcher doesn't pop out when I double-click The Witcher 2 icon on my desktop, any solutions?
