In chapter 1 you are able to cross the river and then go to some lost part of the jungle with drowners (nekkers too maybe ?) and bandits.

In this part there is a locked house where bandits are camping (with tons of traps hidden right in front of their camp).

Is there any way to open that house ? Is it related to a quest ? I didn't find something related to it...

I don't know if it is related to anything, but I think one of the bandits has a key.

You'll get the keys from the bandit that killed the she-troll from the troll trouble dlc.

Yes you have to kill Dimitri the gang leader

If you decide to help the troll, you get to kill Dimitri in the graveyard. He's the guy that killed the troll's wife, and you'll find a key on him that unlocks that house.

Not exactly a treasure-trove, but worth the jaunt out there after getting the key.

This. I actually consider this a treasure trove compared to a few others with say. 4 orens and a gods-damn Paling.

by the time I got there, I already got way better items :( jagged blade is the way to go :P I only ever use diamond or dwarven armor upgrades. so yea, nothing of value except for the 140 orens.

The Superb Cutlass is one of the best Chapter 1 swords. It's far better than the Jagged Blade for critical effects, tho it's lower in raw damage.
