All previous patches contained most (if not all) languages, so there was czech translation in my 1.35 GOG version.

After updating to 2.0, czech language as well as many others is gone.

Would it be possible to release hotfix for this as soon as possible? It is more comfortable to play in czech for me.

Hopefully this is just an oversight and not "by design".
Polish translation is missing as well. Do we need newer to use with 2.0 patch?

I really hope this will get addressed...it makes ZERO sense and quite a few people are angry about it.
I lost my English voice-overs after installing 2.0. So the characters are all mute during cutscenes now (their lips do not even move.)

And reinstalling the English language pack did not help.

Voices work perfectly for me..everything does. Except missing czech language, dammit (though that is not a bug, just oversight).

Just reinstall the game or something.
I had the same problem. Just go to the official Witcher2 website and download the international patch (I believe there is even one for Czech version). Install the patch (reinstalling of the game is not neccessary). Choose your language during insatallation and after it's done - change the text and VO laguage (in the options panel)
First time I used the launcher and file size was around 740 MB, the one on the Witcher website is over 900 MB).
Now it works as it should for me.

EDIT: OK, I can confirm McGregg finding. If you install official international 2.0 patch over GOG 2.0 version, you get bunch of other lang packs (like PL, etc.). If you want czech localisation, download and install official CZ 1.35-2.0 update. :)

This is just EPIC FAIL! I bought this game for my dad (he doesn't speak english) and there are now no czech subtitles, cause of the patch 2.0 (which is now merged into the installation). I am now downloading the 1.35->2.0 international patch from the official site and I sincerely hope, that it could be installed and bring back other localisations.

BTW: I bought this from GOG.com on recommendation from you, Paul_cz.. (discussion on Tiscali Games)

Well what do you know! It really does work. I installed CZ patch 1.35 -> 2.0 over my already patched 2.0 GOG version, and everything works perfectly (tried tutorial, arena AND main story) in czech, no bugs, no problems.

So the issue is fixed, even though those languages SHOULD have been included in every version of 2.0 in the first place.

Thanks to McGregg for finding solution and hav0c for confirmation.

Good! I hope you are going to play it too, not just your dad? It is the best RPG since Vampire Bloodlines, everyone who likes great RPGs should play it.
Same here. I just installed CZ patch 1.35 -> 2.0 over my 2.0 GOG version and finaly I can play it in my native language.

But still I have "missing disc" issue - with GOG version! :(

Installing 1.3.5->2.0 patch over fresh downloaded 2.0 GOG version doesn't work for me.
At the end of version checking "Critical error: cannot access temporary file" window appears, with many possible reasons (disk space, wrong path etc.)

This error was reason for redownloading 2.0 version from GOG. I could patch my 1.0g version to 1.3.5 (and I can repeat this patching with resulting successful message, but I cannot patch 1.3.5 to 2.0 using neither autopatcher's patch nor 2.0 CZ patch from thewitcher.com site.

I suppose that CZ was not available in 1.0g, but I can choose it in 1.3.5 and finally I haven't it again in 2.0 :-(

Is it possible to get CZ localisation separately - without 1GB patch?

According to news from Eurogamer.cz, the Czech language is missing in v2.0 patch on request of Comgad (=ex CD Projekt Czech!!!). I bought it here on GOG.com because I wanted to support DRM-free stuff and because the game WAS in Czech too. Now it´s gone, so I want my money back!

I already asked you on eurogamer...send me your email address (via PM) here or on EG, and I will send you CZ language file. Game works perfectly with it.
