I'm currently near the end of Act 2, Roche's path. Where exactly is the 2nd boat for Mystic River? I found a shipwreck on the far end of the caves beneath the camp but it doesn't seem as if I can interact with the chest. I even tried loading an earlier save (from before when shit went down) and it doesn't seem to work. At this point I'm guessing this is the wrong boat so my question is: where is the correct one?

It's on your way to Vergen. Assuming you went through the ravines that you went through to get to the Kingslayer's camp.

You'll meet a female troll, and there's the ship.

Which side of the fog is it on (a screenshot of the map location would be nice, the game guide doesn't seem to have one)? And I'm assuming I'll need to load an earlier save, I'm at the point where Roche is following me around.

edit: Actually I see a boat icon on my map to the west of where the quarry is, is that where it is? A bit south of said boat icon is a tent.

To be more specific, near the end of the act when the battle for Vergen has started, you and Roche need to get to Vergen.

You can't miss the female troll, and thus the ship, if you head to Vergen by going through the same ravines you had gone through to get to the Kingslayer's cave camp. So, a map or screenshot is kind of pointless, since, again, you can't miss the troll if you went that way.

i joined this thread late but i can see the quest in chapter one. is this quest meant for chapter one?! saying to find a post box in a second wreck but what second wreck?

or is it a quest for act 2, which im not there yet....

it's for both ^^ (just like "melitele's heart" started at the prologue and ended in chapter 1)

I think if you have done the royal mail bit you are done for chapter 1. You mainly need to make sure you have the captains key to open the chest in chapter 2.

am not sure i have the key. in order to open the box i did the jedi mind trick on the owner who was asleep in his bed.
but i DID get the text telling me to look for opportunities later :\

where do i find the key? im supposed to find another ship wreck? in chapter 1?

i just hope that the fact i opened the box without a key but with the mind control schtick wont prevent me from progressing the quest later.
