is there nudity in the withcer 2? Can you skip this?

Yes there are several instances of both nudity and intercourse throughout the game, and they are not really 'skipable'. Well you can skip the scenes if you click skip in the beginning of them if you know which scenes to skip... But it's mature and dark game with mature content, why skip the nudity in a game filled with gore, blood, violence, swearing and references by soldiers and patrons to 'ploughing' most females in the game?

Nudity is the least of the things one has to worry about in my humble opinion.

Skipable? Not really. Nudity? yes!

Now I feel bad because I feel like I ruined a potential buy for CD-Project. :<
But still, the game might not be for you in general if 'just' nudity is a problem.

Whole nudity thing no more than 10 seconds, if you think gonna offend and not buy coz of that just close your eyes for 10 sec.

There is only one scene in the game that forces you to view nudity, and it can be skipped before any nudity is actually seen. Every other scene is easily avoided, just don't provoke the women into getting in bed with you.

All nudity is easily skippable, you SHOULD buy the game.

Just curious though, why do you need to skip it? playing on family computer ?

Nude triss in the beginning, Nude triss thrown into the water at the beginning of act3, Nude girl in torture chambers under certain curcumstances. Then there is also the succu sidequest if you do that one. And also the one when you walk into Cynthias and Philippas spanking party, but that might not count as nude enough maybe? Might have missed somthing here.

Point was, if a little nudity is a problem, the rest of the game would likely be an issue. Not that's it a bad thing...

Just how will you feel when the next game of the Witcher is PG?
Or Gerald never takes his clothes off to have sex?

Bottom line is, this is a game for mature audience, nudity is not evil...
If people cannot stand it well it is either a personal preference (of not liking it in the games) or psychological problem.

Last but not least, maybe its just BioWare trolling again...

If you're refering to me, I'd cancel my preorder for the game.... It's a part of the game. Witcher is supposed to be like this. :)

The reason we buy The Witcher is because it offers what it does, it appeals to mature audience with mature themes and story.

You should not feel sorry that you just cost CDPR a single sale of their game because you did not compromise or falsely described the content of the game to secure that sale.

If nudity is a problem for you I think it would be best to avoid the game, it's not like that they are hard-porn scenes but still it's much more than many other games which go fade to black during sex scenes.

I for one agree and am thankful for that too. I am glad there is a game designer out there that is making a game for a mature player base.
I think it's great that I have games for my family to play and then some -just for me- to play !
