Will CDPR be offering something like the Djinni editor for TW 2?
I hope they will. However I am more looking for an editor for the character models and facial animation. Witcher 2 doesn't have it, even on Geralt it it rare and looks plastic. I would gladly fix this if I would get some good software for it.
Game of The Witcher 2 quality must have proper dialogues!
They said they would, but they need to fix the game proper first.
GoodGuyA, agreed and thanks for the info.

Do you have an official source of this? My worry is that with the Djinn editor they already had a good foundation since it was based-off Bioware's NWN engine and included Aurora editor. Also, NWN's construction was tile-based.

As cRPGs gets more advanced and the topography and construction of the gameworld gets more complex, editors follow. To modify the internal toolset used by the team so that it could be released to the masses then becomes a more daunting task.
Please search the forums first next time...this has already been answered.

PC Format: Do you have anything planned for modding tools or DLC?
Tomasz Gop: Nothing particular, but the we'd like to do it and probably will. Because, with the Witcher 1, we were writing the engine throughout the whole process of producing the game, and it's the same with the Witcher 2, so the engine's not ready to be published yet. But after the release of the Witcher 1, we needed to take some time to polish the editor itself for modders...and I'm pretty sure it's gonna be the case this time round too.

Ahh.. So actual real promise made. But it's fine. CDProjekt has earned my trust so far so I'm crossing my fingers!
