Yep.

Thought it might have been the new ATI drivers, so I went back to plain old 11.5, but still no DOF. Setting say it's enabled, ini says it's enabled, but it's not applied in the game.

Oh well, maybe eventually everything about the game will be working at the same time.
Is it out? I havent installed it yet so i cant say

Are the new ati drivers for this game out?
DOF seems not to work on nvidia too, I have a 560ti ... patched 1.1 but there is no DOF in gameplay although I have enabled it

They are on Guru3d.com.
Have an Ati rig (mine) and a Nvidia rig (hers) here and can confirm DOF is now screwed up upon patching on both.
That sucks.

I have an Inno3D GT 430 2GB (CPU is a P4 3GHz w/ 2GB RAM, w/ WinXP SP2) and I have Depth of Field (it's the 'blurring' of objects that 'aren't in focus', right? Esp. in the distance?).

And, yeah, the game's patched to 1.1.
AARGH GOD DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
why do they break everything? seriously CD projectis fucking failing big time

is the perfomance better?
Oh bother. This is the first DOF implementation I didn't loathe.
GTX 460 GLH
NVIDIA Drivers 266.58
The Witcher 2 GOG Version, Patch 1.1

DOF working fine, no problem whatsoever

So it must be driver related or something else, because it can work after all.

Yeah, now they deactivated it to "fix" the crashes. Not really a fix.
Not using the patch, deactivating DOF manually, but at least controller works.

Oh, but that driver version is WAY old.

You need to re-install the game (clean out directory manually after uninstall), no other way to fall back.
