Hi there,
I posted this over on the standalone Witcher 2 forums but they don't seem to be very active. I've been having a problem when playing on PC using the Xbox 360 wired controller when I bring up the quick menu (left trigger). Basically it doesn't respond to any input on the first press, only the second, no matter how long I wait initially or between inputs.
So, for example, if I want to select a Sign, I have to press left twice to get to the sub-menu, and to change sword I need to press up (or down) twice. To mediate I have to press A twice, so it's not just the analogue sticks. This kind of defeats the purpose of the quick menu and makes it frustrating to use.
I've reinstalled the game using the latest GOG installer and it's all patched up. The controller seems to be working fine otherwise, I use it in other games too without issue. Also, the quick menu works as normal when using mouse + keyboard controls.
Thanks in advance for any help.
edit: if I remap the quick menu to the left bumper instead, it seems to work properly. If I switch it back to the trigger, it doesn't. It's kind of awkward to use the bumper though.
