I just reinstalled version 1.0. At least I think that is what I have again. On my shelf I only have the new patch update to 2.0. The 2.0 updater cannot detect my game.
The game (as installed) will not autopatch and instead attempts to reconnect every 10 seconds... the support page says to:
IF YOU JUST BOUGHT THE WITCHER 2 ON GOG.com:
1) Download and install The Witcher 2 from GOG.com - this way you have version 1.0.
2) Go to "My Account", download the 1.0 -> 1.3 patch from the "additional content" and install it.
3) And there you go, you can now enjoy the latest version of the awesome RPG!
However I don't have the 1.0->1.3 patch, I have the 2.0 update only.
Naturally none of the patches from thewitcher.com will work and I can't rememebr where I found the update before (I am assuming it was in my bookshelf).
The only solution I can think to try is to re-download the game from GoG, in the hopes it is an updated version... but this would take many many hours so I would prefer to just get the correct patch.
Suggestions?
