Thiev: Just a thought, but Ego Draconis wouldn't be a bad choice to play either.

coastie65: Yeah. Good follow up to Divine Divinity. I know there was one in between, but got trashed because of the bugs.
Divine Devinity II The Dragon Knight Sag is Divine Divinity II plus it's expansion, with all the huge patches and developer graphical updates. It's cheaper on steam than it is for the stand alone buggie game. Go figure! I can personaly vouch for Dragon Knight Saga as being a most excellent game. I sunk many hours in Dragon Knight saga a few months back and haven't regretted it.

Not to put a downer on Drakensang and it's prequel The river of time. Both of which are excellent CRPG's, River of Time being alot better in my opinion.

The one I was thinking about and couldn't come up wi the title was Beyond Divinity and we may be atlking about the same game. Anyway, I skipped that one, and like a lot of others waited patiently for Ego Draconis, which so far has been good ( I'm kinda stuck at the moment ).

The retail version where available requires online activation however - the physical copy of Ego Draconis uses just a media check (for those who consider such things important)..

Yes! Good of you to point that out, for some that may be a game killer.
nobody mentioned Arcanum ???
Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines with unofficial True Patch Gold Edition.
Drakensang is a party and turn based old school RPG and gameplay is different from The Witcher...turns are slower than other cRPGs.
In terms of gameplay V:TMB are more like The Witcher.

And if you have never experienced Planescape: Torment, now would be the perfect time!
lol how can i play anything other than witcher 2 now? they're going to look like cartoons.
I really liked Drakensang 2, more than Dragon Age.
It also have full localization in italian (subtitles AND speech!) and the quality of the translation is not bad at all (it was translated directly from german and not from english and for what I read it's probably better than english translation).
I also paid it 10 euros 1 day after release (the official release price was 19,95 for a full translated game!!) because someone bought it the day before and returned it and I bought as a used game.
I think it's a good game.
