Stilts: I assume that means I have to restart?
I haven't heard of anyone starting from there, so it could go either way. If you play a little bit until you get to Vergen and are allowed to run around, you should be able to run up some stairs to the left of the entrance and check to see if there's a wheel turned the wrong way like this:
picture link Whether it does that before the fight or when you first get there isn't something I'm sure on, though. Your save could go either way. It might be worth playing through and seeing if you get stuck (and letting us know either way so that we know where the last possible place a person can start from is for sure), and if you do end up stuck, dragonbird, a member of this forum and incredibly awesome moderator at the official forums, has graciously reverted back to 2.0 so that she can play past that bug for users:
forum link Also, if you prefer it, I have an unleveled up save before finding Cedric in the forest, right before you choose who to go with:
save link It's on Dark difficulty so you can change it to any difficulty you want to play at, with a ton of ingredients for potions, all the quests to that point completed, and at level 1 so you can specialize in whatever you'd like.
I'd stick with your current playthrough if you don't mind potentially having to upload your save at the official forums, honestly.
