Hey all, I bought the gog.com version of the witcher 2 and it came with all tyhe perks
inlcuding the witcher 2 soundtrack.

I really love the first track called A peaceful place, It's a beautiful sweeping track that flows smoothly all the way through, it's the only track I'm listening to at the moment rinse and repeat LOL

That's how much I love it!!

Any one else like the track or others?

The music, just like in TW1, is really really good. They definitely did not disappoint on music score.

I like the Vergen track :D

I really enjoyed the soundtrack to The Witcher 2, it was very well done. Some of my personal favorites include "For a Higher Cause", "The Wild Hunt", "Dwarven Stone Upon Dwarven Stone" and "Coastal Tavern" (this one is missing from the soundtrack here on GOG.com). That being said it feels slightly inferior to The Witcher's soundtrack. It simply had better town music ("Peaceful Moments" is simply the best town music to any RPG game I've ever played, and others like "River of Life", "An Ominous Place" and "The Dike" are phenomenal as well).

Like I said I love The Witcher 2's soundtrack, but if I had to pick a favorite I'd say The Witcher's is superior overall. That and in The Witcher 2 they didn't re-use the damn Witcher theme song they used in the credits of the first game (that's seriously one of the best theme songs I've ever heard). :(

Since there's a lot of music in the game that isn't on the soundtrack (and I enjoyed a lot of it more than the soundtrack), it's probably worth reposting this thread that explains how to extract the music from the game:
