I just finished witcher 1 and I loved it however I want to know weather I should buy witcher 2 now or wait for the EE to be released.

It's really up to you. Once the EE is released you can apply the patch to the version you would get now and keep playing. If you're worried about the EE inserting new content in an area you might complete in the meantime, perhaps just work through the tutorial and play Arena (challenge area) for a bit.

Worst case, just wait and an updated installer should be released that includes the EE content. Maybe someone else will respond with some better advice.

The Witcher 2 is AWESOME. I played through with version 1.2 and 1.3, and even with "warts" it was a (mostly) enjoyable experience. One of the beasts you have to fight was a bit insane, but I hear it's been toned down in the EE, so perhaps you'll have some hair left after the fight.
