I tried installing The Witcher 2: EE but at the very end i got a message saying my installation has failed. The message is

An error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory:
c:/Program Files (x86)/GOG.com/The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition/Launcher/JP/japo?kie kopia.png

MoveFile failed; code 123.
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

Anybody have a fix?

Win7? If so, the best idea is to not install in Programs, but rather in a separate directory. Maybe something like C:\Games. Win7's security makes it so that any games installed in Programs can be problematic.

If you're not willing to do that, make sure you run the installer as Admin and see if that works. But the above is a far better 9and less headache-filled) choice.
I just tried the c:/games method and still got the same error msg.

Running the installer as admin? Perhaps a corrupt file? What are your system specs?
Ok, I ran the installer as admin and got a corrupt file error. I am gonna try this method next. http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/everyone_having_witcher_2_issues_i_have_the_fix/page1

Okay, yeah, if it's a corrupt file issue, then you should be able to get things sorted if you follow those instructions.
Hmmm, I tried installing one more time and got the original error message again.
My computer specs are:

Processor: AMD Athlon9tc0 II x4 630 Processor 2.80 GHz
Ram: 6GB
Graphics Card: gtx550Ti (EVGA)
Bump
I had same problem, it;s easily fixable. Chance is ur windows is running in language other than English (my case was korean), Go to control panel, change ur system locale to English (US), ur gonna be asked to restart computer. after restart install. (after install is done u can change ur system locale to original language.)
