Where does the game store installation paths etc.? I assume they are stored in the VirtualStore section of the registry but I am unfamiliar with there.

I ask because No matter what I do, it does not recreate correct registry keys when reinstalling it resulting in the Launcher failing to check for updates, the Configuration Tool does not show any Text or Voice languages to choose from and any and all patches for the game don't detect where the game is installed to.

All I want is a way to clean up all it's registry entries as for whatever reason the games Uninstaller fails to do so.

This tool will add the missing registry keys: http://wpc.4d7d.edgecastcdn.net/004D7D/files/Tools/Registry_Check_DD.exe

Taken from: http://www.thewitcher.com/support/
windows 7 you should never install it in program files i always make my own map under games\rpg
The problem was that I had moved the games folder, noticed the problem then ran the uninstaller and thus ruining the outcome of future installations. Anyways I have resolved this by simply searching the registry for "Witcher" and deleting all found keys relating to The Witcher 2.
