So the update is out, yay, but in the UK Steam store for game #20920 (which is the Witcher 2, when I click the link from my purchase or from the Steam news update link that is the game id) says:

"This item is currently unavailable in your region"

If I have a friend who I'm encouraging to buy The Witcher 2 now the update is out and he insists on using Steam to buy games (love of the fast local cache servers, all games in one place, random Valve love, whatever) then he is being shown a screen saying his money is no good due to where he lives. I'm 99.9% certain this is a bug and will be fixed, but just wanted to make sure this was a known bug and was in the process of being fixed.
Maybe Steam is updating their files?

I'm sure it's temporary, TW2 was sold in the UK so I see no reason why this would stop with the EE coming out.

However for more details, and if the problem continues, try contacting Steam. Or the offical witcher forums.
Yeah, UK is blocked from buying it from Steam. Magnificent levels of derp, here.

Thanks, did not realise this forum was not monitored by the CD Projekt (publishing) team. My understanding of the split between the developer (RED), the publisher, and the GOG arm of the publisher (and what forums they watch) is not great.
