I bought the Witcher 2 EE version today from here and I noticed that the patcher is still included with the additional content download. Is there any need for the patcher? Isn't the installation already the EE version?

I tried running it just to see what it would do after I installed the game and it said it couldn't find my installation of W2 even though I let it install it in the default location the installer chose!

The patcher was used back in the early days of The Witcher 2 to update it from 1.0 to version 2.0.

I dont know if it will still be used for EE
