For another platform I mean? I have this on 360 but want to make sure that the PC version isn't worth owning as well being that PC gaming seems to offer a sense of freedom that consoles don't. It's on sale so I kind of need to know soon if it's worth a PC purchase as well. Thanks in advance.

The biggest reason you would want it for PC is transfer saves from TW1. There are options in TW2 which aren't available to console users because they never got the first game, and completing the story is a big part of the appeal of the games in my opinion. A second reason would be visuals, which can look quite nicer on the PC than the 360, though the 360 is obviously not a slouch. Personally, I'd pick up both games while they're cheap because both are extremely good and modding content will be available for TW2 soon enough. TW1 has several adventure modules which can extend the playtime of the game as well, though I believe only one of them is actually official. I am a staunch believer in PC and I think that both games play and feel much better on it, so no reason not to give it a go (unless you have a low spec computer)!

Wonder how it will look and run with these specs?

Badly. At 800x600 and the lowest possible settings you might find it playable, though I sincerely doubt it. I've heard stories of it working on that graphics chip under those conditions, but that's before the EE update that made the game more difficult to run. It'll be running at a lower frame rate and resolution than the Xbox version if it runs at all.

That's a laptop, right? You'd probably have to take heat into account, too.
Yes I just watched a vid of it running under my exact specs and it's not even worth it. Just Stick with Witcher 1 on my laptop as it seems quite capable of handling that game and nearly any game before that generation as well with the exception of a few. I mainly enjoy playing classic games anyway but this was one I had to check out. Thankfully I have a 360 as well. Btw just incase anyone else happens to do any laptop gaming or just happen to have integrated cards you can get a handy app called Core Temp to prevent or atleast help prevent overheating.
