Hello, Im on the cockatrice quest and im supposed to throw a bomb. Ive done it before but now the bombs wont "bind" to the hotkey. I press E in my inventory to put them on the hotbar and that works. But when I press esc the bombs arent showing on my hotbar and I cannot use them. Does anyone else have the same problem? Ive tried reloading a few different save files and it dosent help.

From your post i assume that you use different keybindings than the standard ones, so it would help to tell us about those first.
Are you sure you didn't just miss it?
If you open up the wheel you should see them and select them.
Did you run out of bombs maybe and need to meditate to refill them?
Once you selected them you need to use the same key as shooting the crossbow to use them.
