1) Set to High
2) Turn off Hairworks
3) Leave SSAO on
4) Turn off Blur and Motion Blur (they just give me a headache)
5) Chromatic Aberration - I left it on but you can try turning it off if you want. Should have a negligible impact on fps.
6) Turn off Depth of Field
7) Reduce Foliage Visibility to Medium
8) Grass Density - Leave it on Medium or High
9) Leave Light Shafts on
10) Number of Background Characters on High - Mostly irrelevant according to NVIDIA since there are never that many characters anyway.
11) Shadow Quality - Leave it on Medium or High
12) Leave Sharpen on
13) Terrain Quality - I left it on High if memory serves
14) Texture Quality - Set it to High and see how it goes
15) Turn off Vignette
16) Water Quality - Leave it on High and see how it goes
17) Set max fps to 30
I think that about covers it. Bear in mind this is just a preliminary guide and you will most likely have to fiddle around a bit to adjust it to your rig. Alternatively, you could choose Medium settings and it should be decent enough. I'll try and check on fps rate when I get home but I believe there's a limit to what we can do by tweaking this settings.
