I played this on a PS2 via the Need for Speed Underground 2 demo as a kid, which convinced me to play the full game, and I was hooked ever since. One of the best racing games ever released, with visuals that have aged pretty well, an excellent soundtrack and a variety of challenges to do. You will go nuts over the game's wonderful controls - and equally wonderful sense of destruction, making you feel like you are a semi mowing down anyone who dares challenge you. In spite of this, over 20 years later and its 20th anniversary having come and gone, it still doesn't have a proper, official PC release. The only way you can play this game right now is if you own a PS2, an original Xbox or an Xbox 360 using backwards compatibility - and that is criminal for a game this good. That should be enough of a reason for all parties that would be involved in bringing the game onto PC (EA, Criterion and GOG) to genuinely consider going through with this.

The absolute GOAT when it comes to arcade action racing and speed. The soundtrack still slaps hard. All the Burnouts (except for Paradise) never made it to PC so it would be a great opportunity to bring these very fun games back.. so many great memories Road Raging around Silver Lake.
I have been for ages now been advocating for Burnout 1/2/3 and Revenge to come to PC, EA is useless as always but sure remaster Paradise but not your OG series? This is disgraceful and I hate them for it. GOG GIVE ME THIS THIS TYPE OF TIME WITH CUSTOM SOUNDTRACK, I LOVE THE FACT I CAN USE CUSTOM SOUND TRACK TO MY HEARTS CONTENT! THRILLING EXPERIENCES WITH THIS GEM!!! I will die on this hill. Even the copyrighted songs are still bangers to this day!

This was my first game on my PS2 that I personally picked as a 6 year old in a Tesco.... My copy of PS2 and Burnout 3 Takedown still works, it's just an amazing top tier arcade racing experience. I lost thousands of hours on 2007-2011 summers just replaying it all over again and again and again. I'm literally feeling uncanny nostalgic feeling whenever I hear the soundtrack like the game is so much connected with me. I still sometimes launch it on OG PS2 whenever me and my friends decide to do Drunk "crash party mode" and other stuff. I hate EA for dumping the Burnout Franchise. There was never a better arcade racing game and I played dozens of them. I wish it could be pulled back especially there are no real car licenses only songs.

I don't know how GOG is gonna bring this to PC since it's only on console, but sure.... The license song is gonna be a b!tch to deal with, but hey, nostalgia at it's finest and DRM-FREE, baby!
One of the best arcade racing game ever made! I spent so many hours that I managed to fuse the disc and I had to buy another copy of Burnout! I really loved taking down cars!
This game was so good there's nothing like it. The soundtrack is amazing the game itself is brilliant and long. I feel the best part, I was 16 living with my sisters. They don't play video games and I came back from work to find them playing it together and I loved it because it just helped me unlock more cars and we played together. I played it on the ps2 it could have easily been a ps3 title because the graphic were amazing. Hope to see it again
This is the best game in the Burnout franchise and my favorite racing game of all time. I would love a PC Port that I can play today. The Crash mode was absolutely amazing in this game. Currently, Burnout Paradise is the only one playable on PC. It is fun, but Burnout 3 was where it was at!
Ballparking around 2018, I saw my little cousin having this game on PS2, and I hadn't heard of the game or series before. Having an interest in action and vehicle destruction thanks to FlatOut 2, I gave it a spin but the disc was too scratched, so I eventually bought another disc to try the game. It exceeded my expectations in the fun and action. The game didn't focus on realism, but it focused on how crazy crashes can be, which looked far more satisfying. The physics were movie-like, and the cars flipped, rolled, deformed, and sometimes even literally exploded, while modern racing games usually limit the crashes to simply cars skidding and minor scratches on the paint job, mainly because of car licenses or lack of focus on destruction, despite car damage being important in racing games. I was impressed at how much better that older game looked in comparison simply because their cars reacted more desirably to the environment. It was the perfect racing game for an arcade machine that I'm surprised it isn't a thing. It was also the biggest inspiration for my taste in music, my favorite genre being rock. It was very much enjoyingly replayable even after finishing all levels, which is a rarity in other games. About a year later, I encouraged a friend who's a gaming enthusiast, wants to be a game designer, and has never heard of Burnout before, to try the game on his Xbox 360. He thinks it's the best racing game ever. He's also a fan of rock music which made the game even more up his alley. The gaming community is already preserving Burnout 3 and making it accessible on a modern platform like PC without the help of EA. But a GOG release would make things easy and convenient.
Ah my favorite game of all time. I sunk more into this game then I have RPGs and MMOs. This game holds a place near and dear in my heart. It's the one game I wish EA brought back instead of Paradise. A rather flawless racing game in my books.
