One of those few ARPGs that are not taking place in a fantasy setting. Instead it is a post-apocalpytic world with guns and some cyberpunk elements. In terms of story and characters it seems like a B-movie, though the different characters will experience the story slightly differently.
Aesthetically speaking the character design and guns are derivative and not exactly convincing and the environments are what you'd expect (industrial, sci-fi-elements, wasteland). But the environments are pleasing enough to look at for what they are and the soundtrack helps create some atmosphere as well.
There are four characters to choose from with a fairly standard skill systems and the best attribute system I have ever seen in an ARPG.
Like with many underappreciated games this may not be a great game, but it is certainly better than it often gets credit for.
