Story:In this dark adventure game you play as an old black man, Marcellus Faust. In an old theme park, now condemned and abandoned because of numerous disappearances which happened there, you meet Mephistopheles, the Devil himself. Mephistopheles is not your typical red devil; he is instead a charismatic, charming and mysterious man. From there, your quest begins. The Devil asks you to help him: he had a quarrel with God (or the Boss, as he calls him) about whether or not 7 souls who lived here during the 1930 Depression era should be condemned.
You have to investigate on their lives in the past and find evidences of their acts: the decision will be based on your findings. During your inquiry, you will discover the dark side and the worst of the human nature. These seven lives were touched by temptations, lust and greed, and you'll have to understand how they can lead to crimes.

One of the most Point-and-Click adventures games of all time, I played this alongside a friend as we were exploring the catalogue of Cryo Interactive and Arxel Tribe games, and it irreversibly changed our brains the way I imagine that getting prion disease does. Felt even more mentally ill than normal after I finished playing it, and everyone else should be able to have the same experience. They don't make games like these anymore, GOG, so please get this on here!
Absolutely worth a rerelease, this adventure game blew me away and grew to be my favorite game of all time. It stands out among many others I played with its very mature story- and the way it presents going thru people's lives in such a dreamlike way is such an interesting thing. There are fanmade versions for modern Windows but they're missing many of the things such as patches or any included extra info (such as concept art, manuals, promo stuff, soundtrack, etc). Wonderful game.

AM2R: Return of SamusAM2R, short for Another Metroid 2 Remake, is an action-adventure video game developed by Milton Guasti under the pseudonym DoctorM64, and released in August 2016 for Microsoft Windows, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the Metroid series. It is an unofficial, enhanced remake of Nintendo's Game Boy game Metroid II: Return of Samus (1991), borrowing the art style and overall feeling of the Game Boy Advance game Metroid: Zero Mission (2004). Shortly after the game's release, Nintendo sent DMCA notices to websites hosting AM2R; download links to the game were removed from its official website, but Guasti said that he still planned to continue working on the game privately. In September 2016, Guasti ended the development of AM2R after he received a DMCA takedown request from Nintendo.
The game follows Samus Aran, who aims to eradicate the parasitic Metroids from their home planet SR388. It includes several new features, including redone graphics and music, a map system, and new areas and minibosses. The controls were changed to be less "floaty", in line with the gameplay of later titles in the series. Video game journalists appreciated the game, frequently calling it impressive and commenting on the improved visuals compared to those of the original Metroid II, although one thought the conditions required to win battles against Metroids were too specific considering how often they occur. Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black WaterFatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is a survival horror video game developed by Koei Tecmo and published by Nintendo for the Wii U. The fifth main entry in the Fatal Frame series, it was released in Japan in September 2014 and worldwide in October 2015. As with previous games in the series, players navigate areas filled with hostile ghosts which must be fought by taking photographs using the Camera Obscura, which is directly controlled using the Wii U gamepad. A post-endgame story featuring Ayane, a character from the company's Dead or Alive series, is also available featuring altered gameplay mechanics. The story, which is set on the fictional Hikami Mountain, focuses on three protagonists who are drawn into supernatural events revolving the area, including an ancient ritual to seal away Yomi, a malevolent force corrupting the surrounding spirits that is tied to the fate of the titular shrine maiden Ouse Kurosawa.
Planning for the game began in 2011, during the projection of the Wii remake of Crimson Butterfly. The game was first proposed by series co-creator Keisuke Kikuchi when he saw the Wii U hardware and the possibilities of the gamepad becoming the Camera Obscura. The game was a joint production effort between Koei Tecmo and Nintendo Software Planning & Development, with Kikuchi and fellow co-creator Makoto Shibata returning as to their respective posts of producer and director, together with staff from the previous series entry Mask of the Lunar Eclipse and developers new to the series. The cast went through several revisions during development, while the staff experimented with the capacities of the new hardware. As with previous games, it features a theme song by Tsuki Amano.
