I am currently hoarding games to donate to the Community Giveaway, probably after the summer sale. In the meantime here is a little giveaway to spread a bit of good cheer (several people have been doing similar, take a bow GamezRanker and co).

The prizes are simple, six entrants will be picked using random.org and they can then choose any one game they want that is available on GOG as of the time that the giveaway ends.

The giveaway is open to all, old and new with the simple rule that if you win a game, it is to be redeemed to your account (if you have separate accounts for forum posting and games, let me know in chat).

Now I ask those of you who enter to do one thing - have a look through the forum at the people posting, pick someone and then say something nice about them.
Simple as that.

Good luck all.

GamezRanker is a good guy with positive messages and negative reputation. Thanks to his giveaways, this topic has appeared. Do not judge people by their face, judge by their actions.
Thanks, very generous as ever! I'm in. My shout-out goes to Testor0, whose creativity, technical skills and sense of humour really impressed me in the various games they shared with the forum, including a telnet-based multi-user text adventure, a coded message and even a rock-paper-scissors tournament!
I'm in and i would like to mention Themken that gave me some helpful tips in mount and blade and i managed to beat it and he was interested in my story of how i beat the first mount and blade, also he is a forum friend of mine where we did some chatting, good lad.
I'm in and cheers for the giveaway.

I want to showcase adamhm. His Linux Mint and Linux Wine Wrapper Threads are really helpful to the community, interesting from a technical standpoint and good to read and adding benefit for everyone. Also that he keeps answering questions of all the people running into issues.
While he also was going the extra mile with many giveaways promoting gaming on Linux what i really appreciate is that he managed to keep out the Linux vs Windows debate out of the threads and rather went for an unbiased hands on approach in the direction "Hey you want to start Gaming on Linux - here is what you gotta do".
Finkleroy - Finkleroy has been an asset to the GOG forum community by being a reliable and unbiased moderator of the GOG community giveaway redux and Finkleroy has benefitted many other users on the forum.
Thanks for the opportunity!

I'm going to pick Hooyaah for this one. His friendly personality makes me feel at ease whenever I have some questions I need to ask him, such as how I used to gnaw at him with questions related to Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. I also remember the first time he complimented me for the rough sketch I made on 2B (from Nier Automata) which I shared on my activity feed. Overall, I believe Hooyaah to be a fun person to chat with.

Another would be TinyE simply because of how funny he is. I still await for his return.

I would like to mention ciemnogrodzianin. He is always posting nice game lists, sorted by price, for every GOG sale, beside a lot of posts about game changes on GOG and with other useful information.

I also would like to mention Sude, who's not posting much outside of the lgogdownloader thread. But in that thread he often answers and implements user requests for lgogdownloader within hours.

Thank you, Doc0075, for running another generous giveaway! I'm in. :)

Thank you for the giveaway, happy to participate! I would like to mention Dogmaus, who has made several helpful posts that I noticed early on in my participation in this forum, such as a Big Fish games recommendation thread.
Not in but thanks Doc for your continued generosity.

Stay safe.

I pick Breja from Poland. In the Prince Philip thread he made trolls feel like they are noticed and influential, and powerful. With all the constant downvoting, banning everywhere and anti-troll hate, it was a breath of fresh air and relief to be acknowledeged and valued like that. Trolls contribute greatly to the ecosystem of the internet and keep the community healthy from disesaed, ill conformist ideals and fanboy plagues. Breja made more than one comment, above and beyond what was expected of him.
I'm in as well. Thank you very much for hosting this giveaway.

Personally, I would like to give a mention to ZFR. He maintains the List of GOG games with missing manuals and where to find them thread, which collects manuals for games that don't include them in the extras. He has been doing this since the first iteration of the thread a few years back and I appreciate that he keeps doing this, as maintaining something like that for such a long time is no small feat (I used to maintain a GOGmix about the same thing, which I made shortly before he made his thread, and helped from time to time in the thread, but lost most of my motivation for looking for manuals after GOGmixes were discontinued, so now I only help sporadically). He is also helped find manuals by some other helpful people, but I'll let others mention them.

Thank you once again, and I'm in!

I'd have a lot of nice things to say about a lot of the forum users here. Some are extremely generous with giveaways (the ever-selfless Doc, jolly GameRanker, SylvanFae, paladin, and many others), or spending their free time managing various threads (my good friend finkle, zeo, Jackknife, krugos, and many, many others). Others are just helpful whenever someone has a technical question, or when someone needs help with a game.

I would like to give a shoutout to NowaAnglia, though, who I haven't been seeing in the forums in the past couple of years. I had just started posting in the forums for a few months, and at some point I had expressed how I'd like to see the Hitman trilogy on sale (before we got the later titles). Out of nowhere, NowaAnglia gifted me the whole trilogy with keys he had had for a few years. It was the first time that had happened to me, and I was extremely grateful. NowaAnglia's gesture made me realize what kind of forums these are. In my mind, I had to pay it forward, which I did with more Hitman keys.

You guys are great! (well, most people! :P)

Edit: spelling.

Thanks as always for your generosity, Doc, and particularly for the requirements of this giveaway. Showing appreciation and spreading some positivity is something I find very important, but still know I don't do nearly often enough!

He isn't really posting that much anymore, sadly, but HypersomniacLive has to be my pick anyway, because whenever I get a new game, I go have a look at the game forum for that game, and odds are that there'll be a Changelog thread there started and maintained by HSL.

It's an amount of effort over the years, with a scope which which even now I suspect I still barely comprehend.

To also pick someone who I have seen post in the last few days: Yepoleb created gogdb.org, which is an amazingly useful resource, particularly given the absence of MaGog. Changes on the side of gog caused things to break in late 2018, and in the time since, Yepoleb has been working hard to get a new version up and running again - foregoing things he'd rather work on, not compromising on quality, and basically only for the benefit of everyone here.
