I've seen these games mentioned so many times, and I can't believe how people totally forgot Aliens Colonial Marines and We Happy Few.

On a more worryingly note, the investors of CDP seem to be getting more and more angry, and I'm afraid of what might happen if a big lawsuit actually happens. Now that, I think would be something unprecedented in the industry.

This is very true. And do not forget Sea Of Thieves, Assassin's Creed - Unity, Mass Effect - Andromeda, Watch Dogs, Wolcen - Lords Of Mayhem, and I can't name more right now, but there is always more. Never forget.

CDPR legitimately deserve to be criticized right now, and calling Cyberpunk heavily flawed, disappointing or even mediocre is fine, and but to say it's as bad as Fallout 76 or Anthem? Now that's just being unreasonably hyperbolic.

Oh don't worry, I for one have never, ever forgotten about (or forgiven) Aliens: Colonial Marines.

I don't really understand: in your list, at least No Man's Sky and Mass Effect Andromeda are good games, or became good games after patching.

Was it stupid to release them in their original form? Maybe.

Personnally, I'm glad their studios didn't bother too much about the criticisms and kept on doing a good job.

Take it easy man, at least CDP have stated that they won't stop patching until the game is completely fixed. That's more than say Bethesda, who make buggy messes that remain buggy messes forever and leave it to modders to fix it.

Well I never thought I'd be saying this but I think Cyberpunk has really blown CDPRs reputation to pieces. They deserve every criticism labelled towards them. I think a laughing stock is putting it lightly to be honest.

> CDPR decided to release a game that is not ready across all platforms. Even on high end PCs its a bug ridden mess.
> CDPR chose to lie about the state of the game on consoles and even tried to control the reviews for it.
> CDPR took 4 days to officially acknowledge and apologize for the state of the game.
> CDPR then offered refunds to those on consoles without any discussion with Sony or Microsoft which as a result has
removed them from their stores which is really unheard of.
> CDPR in a recent conference call said they were not encouraging refunds despite saying the exact opposite on twitter.

The only saving grace is the game doesn't have microtransactions.

CDPRs behaviour has been atrocious, they have lied to us all and then have the nerve to ask for trust that they will fix it.

Next they will say that completing the game in its current state will give a huge sense of pride and accomplishment!
Lol, those glitches are very amusing. ( :

I remember a simpler time, when games were like this. Here's the world's first horror game.

... yet.

They will add those before all the bugs are fixed. That's my prediction.

It's really sad. Witcher 3 earned CDPR much respect - and deservedly so. But then came Gwent and from there it went continuously downhill. Now we have a mess with an unfinished game, like in Jowood-times with Gothic 3 and in addition they have started toying around with DRM for single-player DLC. Sure, only a 'reward' for using Galaxy so far. But how long will it be until the 'reward' for using Galaxy will be bigger and bigger parts of the games sold here, not only cosmetic DLC?

Unfortunately, you are right. Just as CDPR deserved all the respect they got for The Witcher 3, they also deserve every bit of bad press their recent behaviour has earned them. It would be the best for that company if the fire there entire upper management and replace them with competent people.

Yeah, NPCs going through walls and cars flying towards sky are amusing glitches that can be fixed and patched over time.

But there are reportedly bigger problems with the game, and those can't be fixed unless the game is completely redesigned.

Here's a very good video about it, and to me (a person who hasn't played the game) this seems to be the most informative review about the game:

High-cost euro jank, 2020 is the true surprise
So far I've only encountered infuriating bugs, some people have more luck and have glitches that are actually funny.
Dont't know how to link only the video, sorry.

I've uninstalled the game, don't know wether or not the new patch made things worse.

Well I share the same concerns as you. My GOG library sits at 498 games and my Steam library sits at 110. I have even paid twice recently for Horizon Zero Dawn as I didn't think it would be released on GOG but to my surprise it did and I bought it again. I really want to support CDPR and GOG but their recent practices are really making that difficult if this is the way they are going to behave moving forward.

When I read that CDRP were "not encouraging refunds", this came from Marcin who I wouldn't consider a "suit". So I think the whole company is in a complete mess with all these contradictions and false promises.

I'd like to think I am a reasonable person and a good customer of CDPR but they really have put profits and greed before the customer which is really hard to swallow given how highly I thought of CDPR.
I just hope these troubles with CDPR don't affect GOG.com in a way.
