As long as Denuvo is stopping people from pirating day 1 there's always going to be passion against it :)

If it's get necroed, let's at least have an update about if Denovo indeed has been sued and what the result has been?

Corporations are people, you know, and piracy hurts them too.

You should stab them in their hearts, so they would die almost immediately without hurting that much.

Does that roughly translate to: "Herp-derp, you're all just complaining against Denuvo because it keeps you from pirating games"?

Because, while I can only speak for myself, I personally don't have much interest in pirating Denuvo protected games. But I certainly don't want to spend any money on them.

Of course not, there's people complaining for understandable reasons as well, but I have little doubt the bulk are complaining because they can't play. Just follow any of the Denuvo games on Crackwatch for instance that don't immediately get cracked. The number of pirates are huge.

And I'm naturally not claiming these are all lost sales, but these are definitely all people who'd be complaining about Denuvo.

These other guys should have used Denuvo in order to keep Denuvo away. That will teach them ;)
It's kind of an assurance that Denuvo is actually effective. Otherwise people would hardly complain.

People complaining about Denuvo could be seen as advertisement for Denuvo.

They were never sued, they never used any pirated version, it was all a lie invented by some random person on that Russian forum

And yet VMSoft refused to provide VMProtect to Denuvo for a while after (not sure how it stands now).

I heard this confirmed as "quickly settled behind the scenes" from somebody working for one of the entities involved in a high enough position, but of course that's no evidence even if you could trust a random stranger posting on the internet.

You might consider the implications of absence of VMProtect in Denuvo versions around that time, though.

If it had been any more fishy back then they would have opened a fish fast food franchise. Of course they weaseled out of it and snakes don't bite each other. Mostly.
