Just hit F12 and past the script into the console, a few text boxes appear between the header and the page numbers and you just need to type the name of the user whose posts you want to read, and the first and last page you want to filter (usually 0 and the last page of the thread)

I hit F12 and this is what I get (pic attached).

Where do I paste the script?

Ah, I thought F12 brought up the actual console.
If you click console on the top bar it will bring up a text input box and just paste it there, and press enter.

OK, I did that. I clicked "console" and pasted in the script and hit enter. It turned blue.

Now what? I don't see anything different.

adaliabooks: The lazy mafia player strikes again!

So I couldn't be bothered to have to open the console and redo the script for each player, so I've added a little search bar above the page numbers where you just need to put the username, start page and end page and it will run the filter script. Then you can just change the name and hit go to run it again.

Well, there should be some text boxes and a button at the top of the page if it's worked. They're not huge, but I don't know enough javascript to be bothered to format them properly / better.

Probably, but I have no idea how that works so I'd have to look into it or leave it to someone with more knowledge.

Firefox update and Greasemonkey has gone kaput....

It's on but no preview window (which was all I really used it for.)
