Makes no sense. It's anonymous. Or it's collecting user data.
uMatrix tells me there's some msecnd.net script trying to load - that's an MS domain connected to Azure. Survey works fine without unblocking anything though (which is a rarity nowadays).

Sounds like those questions at the bank, except the phone number. Also, A/S/L reminds me of the IRC days.

MajicMan: It is a completely wasted opportunity. Of course, if the morons that are current GoG just read the forums and wishlist they would know the how to improve GoG.
But in typical GoG fasion these Morons came up with the stupidest way to solve a problem, by not actually asking any questions about the problems.
It would be great if nobody else filled it out and GoG got no replies and spent all that time and money just to get a big shit burger in return.
I appreciate people sharing their opinions and you make some good points, but is there really a reason to insult them? They are human beings just like us and I know I don't enjoy being insulted. It's one thing to joke around with your family and friends, but let's at least be civil to our neighbors, even if they are on another continent lol. At least yours is mild compared to some of the things others have posted. :)

Pajama: However, I thought I'd fill it in and got as far as "What are the 3 main reasons for you to use the GOG GALAXY app?" (having said in the previous question that I don't use it) but it won't let me continue if I don't tick any boxes :( So that's that. Nice one GOG.
DubConqueror: They fixed that, I said I don't use Galaxy and didn't get any subsequent questions about Galaxy. That's the fastest time GOG ever fixed a bug - or fixed a bug at all.

Well, another success in the long line of gog successes. Don’t use galaxy, not interested in hearing your opinion.

"Who owns gog" must be a trick question, right? Because you can only click CD Projekt Red, which technically doesn't own gog.
They should have included "The CCP" for lulz.

It's a stupid trend that's even on government surveys.

Tempelton: How about letting us see all the questions on one page, instead of displaying one or two at a time?
HappyPunkPotato: Probably because some surveys dynamically change the questions based on previous answers, like how the answer to the question about using Galaxy determines if you get asked any more questions about Galaxy. Displaying or hiding page elements is what JS does the best, so there should be no problem with revealing question subtrees that depend on the state of other questions, while keeping the whole survey on one page. Therefore, feeding the server's database with answers to currently displayed questions, just to reveal the next question set, shouldn't be required at all, no matter what choices we make.
I suspect the main reason behind designing surveys this way is what @amok has already mentioned. It's about the false sense of commitment. Once you fill out half of the survey, you start feeling obliged to complete it. The second possible reason might be a guarantee that some data is still submitted to the server, even if a person ultimately resigns from completing the survey, but has already answered to multiple questions.
This said, next time please provide us with a simple one-page survey. Who knows, maybe I'd fill it out, if I find its questions reasonable. ;) This one I'll pass. Not only because of what I said above, but also because I'm not interested in Galaxy anyway.

They are two good reasons that didn't occur to me. I was just guessing it was one of those "we don't want to confuse people" by changing the questions part way through situations. There are now no more questions about Galaxy if you answer no to using it, still not a very good survey though.
