Not in, thanks for the giveaway.
In, thanks for your generosity in running this giveaway.

1. What was the first point and click game that got you into the genre?
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.

2. What is your favourite point and click game?
Hard to not go with the above: it has wonderful voice-acting, choice of multiple paths, great environments. But, I will go with a much lesser-regarded title: Space Quest 6. For some reason, it stuck with me over the years.
I am in.
Thanks You for generosity and idea of this 'survey giveaway'.

A. What was the first point and click game that got you into the genre?
Lost Eden

B. What is your favourite point and click game?
Let me give 2 titles:

1) Blade Runner
You can just enter into the cult movie's scenery to find out who you are (human or replicant), and more importantly, decide who you want to help, protect or kill. And it's a milestone in the development of adventure games: 13 diffrent endings, depending on the random determined factor (whether the NPC character is human or replicant) and the cumulative choices of the player.

2) Syberia
Belgian artist and comics creator Benoît Sokal successfully transferred a subtle visual story into the world of a computer game, taking the player controlling the character of Kate Walker on a poetic fin de siècle journey through Europe torn by the turbulences of history.
Shortly: visually astonishing, subtle in story.
Not in, I already own it.

1. Either The Secret Of Monkey Island or Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade, ot both (I got them both at the same time).

2. The Secret Of Monkey Island

Thanks for the giveaway!! I'm in!

1. Shadow of the Comet, from Infogrames. It is amazing how good it was and what they did with that resolution.

2. From the classics, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. At the time, it was the best (for me). It was entertaining and funny and it piqued your curiosity to move forward. But interfaces have greatly improved. Also, some players have less time or patience with being stuck, nowadays.

Edir: Honourable mention to the less known title Noctropolis. It was fun, consciously cheesy at times, with good result, and it delivered. You could live out the fantasy of being in a somewhat dark comic book.

Not in, kudos to you for your generosity!
1. What was the first point and click game that got you into the genre?
Prisoner of Ice

2. What is your favourite point and click game?
Indiana Jones and the fate of Atlantis
I'm in, thank you for the chance! +1

1. What was the first point and click game that got you into the genre?
Although I had played 2-3 other adventure games before it, it was the first Syberia game that made me to actually like the genre.

2. What is your favourite point and click game?
This is more difficult, as I like all Syberia games, Secret Files games, and Broken Sword games.
Not in, since I already have it.

But to answer your questions:

1) That's easy to answer since I played adventures long before they got point & click interfaces, so naturally I played the first point & click that was released for homecomputers: Tass Times in Tonetown on the C64.

Yes, I know the game Deja Vu predated Tass Times but it was originally only released on Apple computers, which back in the day (1985) practically were only found in offices for doing desktop publishing and making music, so I don't really consider these homecomputers. It was only ported to other systems much later, after the release of Tass Times.

2) That's difficult to say. I played so many good point & click adventures over the years that I couldn't really name a definitive favorite.
+1 Not in, i already have it. :)

1. What was the first point and click game that got you into the genre?
Maniac Mansion, i didn´t have it original so i only walked by the ground floor visiting the screens and picking several objects. Even you could solve some things but when tried to open the metal door... boom! The mansion blew away.

2. What is your favourite point and click game?

Grim Fandango without doubt! :)

The characters are memorables (Manny, Glotis, Hector, ...) , the story, the music a noir game with mexicans rhythms. I bought it and keep the big box as a treasure. The art of Peter Chan is amazing, how they design the scenarios ones over others (that Rubacava). What can i say: ¡Viva la Revolución!
1. What was the first point and click game that got you into the genre?
I was involved in it by Discworld which is based on the works of one of my favorite writers. Even though it was very hard, it gave me pleasant memories.
2. What is your favourite point and click game?
The Longest Journey cause of its humor. Syberia is very different so I'd give it second place.
1. What was the first point and click game that got you into the genre?
Loom. I bought this one off GOG out of sheer nostalgia and wasn't disappointed. I would recommend it to anyone that likes point-and-click adventure games.

2. What is your favourite point and click game?
Thimbleweed Park. It's a newer game that feels like an older retro game. I liked this game enough that I own it on both PC and mobile.
I'm not in, as I have Grim Fandango already. In fact, I started to play it just recently.

I think my first point&click adventure was either Alien Virus or Gobliins 2 - I played those around the same time long ago.

And as for my favorite, I won't be original and say Blade Runner.

To be honest, I'm not exactly sure. I was 9 years old and the memories of that aren't quite as fresh anymore. But I'm sure it was "Maniac Mansion" or "Murder on the Mississippi" on the C64. I still like both very much today and have remained true to the genre (along with many others). :-)

My favorite adventure is Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Along with Monkey Island 1+2, it's one of my absolute favorite adventures. LucasArts, they produced top hits non-stop back then.

It's great that you're so generous, but I'm not there because I already own "Grim Fandango Remastered".
