If you`re up to the challenge, Amnesia The Dark Descent has loads of mod/stories.
The Four Horsemen is a great one to get started.
Also, grab SOMA. That has story/mods too, although there won`t be many out yet as the game is still shiny & spanking brand new.
Placing bets your screen will attract all the bugs though ;)

Well, Outlast is a pretty fucked up game. I already had a few *jump back in my chair and audibly shout "Whooooo"* moments. I don't think I've ever done that before, game (for sure) OR movie.
I need a mental break.

Tonight, I'll take my laptop out in my garden and plays some horror titles. Feeling the cold wind against your face makes the horror a bit more real than when its played inside the safety of your home. Highly recommended.
I just bought Nosferatu: Wrath of Malachi. I'm also installing Lone Survivor, Costume Quest, Last Door, Deadly Premonition and Penumbra: Overture. Let's see how many minutes I last ...
Happy Halloween!

Outlast as a horror game is way overrated. Nothing but scripted horror scares that are more or less predictable. The Last Door is an excellent choice in terms of atmosphere. Not so many jump scares (though there are a few of those), but you constantly have this eerie, on-edge feeling, amplified by the low-detail pixellated graphics.

One of the scariest thing that I ever played is Shalebridge Cradle in Thief: Deadly Shadows. Highly recommanded :)

Nice picks, Kasper. I'll be playing some Penumbra too. I started it last Halloween but didn't finish it.
Happy spooky Halloween everyone!
