I really think this should be an option. It's not a huge problem on GOG as there aren't that many porngames here but I think it's going to be a problem in the not to distant future. What I am proposing is that it should be possible to flick a switch in the user profile that just hides all the porngames from the store. From best-seller lists, on-sale lists and from the library. Store-wide hide-feature.

I don't dispise porn-games, and I understand that they are popular, but they are just creeping in from all angles and I have no interest in playing them. Universally uninteresting!

Stands to reason if they sell them, they want you as a customer to see them. Besides which, they already ask when clicked on, if you really want to look at it. If that still does not stop anyone. I am fairly certain the next step is buying it. After that....I guess they tricked you good!

I said this the first time they started adding them. It's been a year or more since then. GOG knows people want it, they just don't care.

I don't have kids in the house, but if I did, I wouldn't want Hunie Pop 2 being displayed prominently when I load up the store front.

From what I've seen of the promotional stuff of Huniepop 2 I can't imagine it's that damaging, unless you get weird about it. I don't remember seeing more than bikini drawings of anime girls in the ads.

I totally get you. Personally, I'd much rather they stumble upon wholesome games like Hitman, Serious Sam or Outlast.

In all seriousness, while I understand the request and I'm not against the suggestion, I still find it a sad statement about our culture whenever people mention children as an argument to hide games with sexual content, but games that are total violence fests or just downright disturbing are not even part of the conversation.

If that is the genuine worry, maybe a more generic parental filter that also applies to violent and disturbing games would be in order? Why stop at games with sexual content?

I wouldn't use it but it's fine with me if someone else wants to block them. Not really into porn games, myself, but I'm sure people would count Agony and Succubus. :)

I also think children should not play violent games, either. I'm not a fan of double standards.

We have a tag system, it just needs to be able to be utilized by the end user.

I agree that an option would be nice to have.
