Awesome, it's a very underrated game. The combination with a fantasy Total war and RPG elements were great. I'd almost wish Paradox would support Neocore more so they could properly polish it, since the rough edges were the only bad thing with the game.

Now we only need a sequel where you play as the Vikings, being free to raid entire Europe (+NA & Africa) and I'm good.

Seriously. Great way to start a weekend. I can hear Billy Mays saying "But wait, there's more!"
Can't seem to see the 60% launch discount.
oh hell yeah!

EDIT: oh I thought at that price it would include the second game too, still nice to see it in the catalogue even if the pricing's a bit off imho.

So is the sequel the same, but better, or totally different?
Fuck yeah!
Great game, I have the steam edition but I will gladly get it drm free.

From what I have heard, the sequel is more linear and perhaps not as good too.

It's a little different. I found it a bit easier and I thought the first was the better game.

Honestly, the only reason I *might* not recommend the first is because it was a tad bit difficult, but I absolutely love the game.

If I were you, I wouldn't wait for the sequel and skip the first. If you were going to only play one I'd do this one. I've gushed about this game more than a few times here on the fora.

It includes the original game, the smaller DLC expansions, and the stand-alone expansion Fallen Champions :)
Interesting and tempting. Wishlisted for now.
